Front cover

For the past few days i have been creating my front cover for my school magazine. To do this i used photoshop. In my opinion photoshop was easy to use as i have used it before. Whilst creating my front cover i found placing the subheading easy and chosen a font that went with the magazine, however i did find a few thing difficult. Such as i would not decide on the colours for my magazine. I played with a few colours till i thought that i had the right once. I also had to find a colours that stood out as my main image was a dark colour. In the wen i did choose a light purple background and nevy, black and white writing. I chose these coloures as i am designing this magazine for a girls school and light purple is a more girly colour, and the text stands out with this colour. Here in the image below you can see what my front cover turned out like.
